Week 1 Part 2: Editing and Casting

To make the script better, since we both agreed that criticism was needed, we employed the help of our fellow classmates and online. We first ran the script across our friend Josh, who is an experienced film maker, who gave us some pointers. We also submitted the script to the screenwriting subreddit on Reddit, where users gave their opinions. The help we got from both was unanimous; we had to make the characters background more detailed, as well as fix the dialogue to represent the modern era the film took place in. After we placed that into our script, the script was unofficially done for the second time.

Our next step would be auditioning for the film as well as the background music. Tyler managed to talk to the drama teacher, Mr. Ludwin, and he arranged a makeshift audition of Rosemarie after school. As for Don, Tyler recommended his actor friend Paul, whom he vouched as having a lot of talent. As for the music, we have already sent in some requests to Universal music. The indie archetype of the film would be demonstrated with some indie artists. Beck was our first choice, but we have yet to come up with any more choices.
